Has anyone dealt with this….what treatment did you get?

Available treatments involve invasive procedures for what seems a simple constriction.

I have been going to doctors for years for numorous of things. I had lyme disease when was a child 3x from different ticks. I was paralyezed from the waist down from one episode. I often wonder if what I have going on stems for that. I did get treatment each time Ampicylin for 2weeks.
I have had other things happen like abuse which gave me PTSD so now I have a psychologicol problem added to my list. Most of the time when I see the doctors they think I’m crazy. I have had 2 chest tubes. And tumor in my appendix the size of my fist. I have joint pains , knees, hips, fingers, upper back. I do have chest pain at times but lately it has been a pressure. Makes it hard to breath and swallow. I could taste the acid in my throught. I just got a scope done and they said I have an enjarged esophagus. No biggy I guess. But I wonder why I have an enlarged prostate, bladder and esophagus going on. What else is there enlarged. I have nerve damage too. Hands feet and face. HELP :
I’m on quite a few meds, I take Detrol LA, Zantac, Ambien, Zoloft. I have been on cypro but I haven’t been to the prostate doctor in a while. I would think if I was a hyprochodriact I would have no actually symptoms like tumors and collapesed lungs and tick bytes that made my legs not function for a period of time. Numbess in my hands feet and face. I do get disability. I don’t want it. I just want to know why my organs are swelling. This acid reflux is new and its always the new thing to drive me nutty. So hard to swallow and it always has that nasty taste.

Is this illegal, even if I don’t claim it on my insurance?
So, if I get prescription for avodart or proscar or some other medicine for enlarged prostate but use it as a treatment for hair loss, is this illegal?

What is the best treatment? Thank you!

The standard warnings say that men with an enlarged prostate should use “caution” in taking Sudafed. But the warnings don’t say why or list what the prostate-related side effects are. Is BPH a potentially a side effect of Sudafed, and/or does Sudafed make BPH worse? Or is it a drug interaction with the BPH treatment?

Saw palmetto doesn’t seem to help that much,….

I have an enlarged prostate that my doctor says is not due to cancer. Taking Flomax does help somewhat, but it hasn’t ended the problem. I don’t want to take medication the rest of my life. I’m only 34.

Our dog has been to the vet, and his prostate was a little larger than normal. We’re still waiting on results from his urine test, but he has all the sypmtoms of BPH (blood/pus leaking from penis, strained urination and defecation). What are some typical treatments used to shrink the prostate? He’s already on Baytril for any infections he might have. He is an 8 year old, neutered male cocker spaniel.
